Richard G. Levine, MD received his undergraduate degree and medical degree from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He then went on to the prestigious McGill University in Quebec, Canada to complete his dermatology residency. After his training in 1998, Dr. Levine made his way to Colorado where he opened CU Dermatology – Boulder. Dr. Levine moved to the Scottsdale area and joins Spectrum Dermatology after having practiced nearly 20 years in the field of Dermatology. He is a board certified dermatologist and a cosmetic surgeon.
Dr. Levine is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (F.A.A.D.), a fellow of The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and also a fellow of the American Society of Mohs Surgery. His affiliations include the Cell Surgical Network (CSN) and the American College of Phlebology. He is trained in clinical medicine, tissue pathology, and surgery pertaining to the skin. He remains updated with procedures and medical literature by attending conferences, workshops, and seminars of the procedures he performs, such as cutaneous laser surgery, Mohs surgery, photo facials, facial rejuvenation, tumescent liposculpture, blepharoplasty, and much more.
Dr. Levine was the first physician in Boulder County to begin photo facials and also one of the first physicians in Colorado to introduce and offer thread lifting techniques and Clearlight acne therapy.
