25 Jan Discover eMatrix Skin Resurfacing
With so many technologies and treatments to clear and brighten skin, it can be overwhelming at first. Spectrum Dermatology only offers the latest, most effective, and safest procedures including eMatrix skin resurfacing. This treatment addresses the most common cosmetic skin issues including brown spots, scarring, wrinkling, and overall poor texture and elasticity. This sublative treatment uses radiofrequency to achieve great results, all in an appointment that is fast and comfortable.
Many people overlook the inherent importance the quality of skin has in their quest for a more youthful look. However, it’s important to bear in mind that skin quality itself is often a major factor in skin looking weathered and tired. Instead of immediately thinking a face lift, eyelid lift, or brow lift is the only option for you, reconsider options that involve improving your skin. Even with aggressive surgical treatments, those operations do not address any facet of skin quality beyond sagging. Many clients benefit from skin resurfacing as well—or, in some case, skin resurfacing alone can give you the results you want.
What Makes eMatrix Different
eMatrix delivers a pulsed energy right to the target site, resulting in immediate improvement. You can use eMatrix for just about any skin concern, including oversized pores and most types of hyperpigmentation. That’s what makes it the most-requested laser treatment in our clinic. It also has exceptional promise in minimizing many types of scarring, including lingering acne scars that have been visible for years.
No matter what type of skin treatment you undergo, a customized plan is critical. This is only available at clinics like Spectrum Dermatology where you have access to a wide range of lasers and other complementary treatments. Many times, a combination of laser and light technologies can work together to achieve optimal results and eMatrix is often part of this hybrid approach. It also works fantastically well with chemical peels, microneedling, and much more. Since every person’s skin is one of a kind, your treatment plan should be, too.
We have one of the largest collections of lasers in the region, but have found that eMatrix is recommended—either alone or with other lasers—more so than any other device. It is suitable for all skin types, treats a rich variety of conditions, and gives results that are striking with minimal to no downtime. This makes eMatrix the perfect solution for those who want visible results right away but not the recovery period associated to more aggressive treatments.
Turn Back the Clock with eMatrix
You can enjoy peace of mind when using eMatrix because it has received FDA clearance and harnesses your own body’s healing powers. It kick-starts collagen and elastin production in treatment sites, which are your natural cell turnover processes. Unfortunately, everyone produces less collagen and elastin with age, and there’s also a genetic factor at play. eMatrix tells your body to synthesize more of these necessary proteins and exactly where. Collagen and elastin are the organic ways our skin looks younger and healthier, and with eMatrix you can tap into that internal fountain of youth.
If you’re curious if eMatrix will help with your unique skin concerns, consultations for cosmetic procedures are always available. This technology can help with stretch marks, fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, and treatments take less than 20 minutes. You’ll get a deep impact and skin that instantly looks younger.
The eMatrix Approach
Unlike fractional lasers that use light and/or heat that damages the skin, eMatrix does not require a long recovery period. Ablation is what makes some procedures aggressive, but eMatrix uses radiofrequency to heat up tissue below the skin’s surface. This means the surface level damage is minimal, but below the surface a lot is happening. There may be some redness after your treatment, as if you just spent the afternoon in the sun, but for most clients they feel comfortable immediately getting back to their daily lives.
Sublative rejuvenation, which eMatrix uses, removes small pieces of skin below the surface. The majority of clients require three treatments spaced one month apart to achieve the best results, but you will see improvement after your first session.
