Board certified in Dermatology and fellowship-trained in Mohs skin cancer surgery, Dr. Nancy Kim is a former Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Arizona. Dr. Kim has authored extensively on various topics in the field of dermatology and her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Kim is recognized by Phoenix Magazine as a Top Doc in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Dr. Catherine Chen is a board certified dermatologist with over 10 years of experience in the East Valley. She joins Spectrum Dermatology with her primary goal of constructing the best skin care and multi-disciplinary team for her patients.
Dr. Kirsten Flynn is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgeons and the Phoenix Dermatology Society.
Dr. Geoghegan is proud and excited to join the staff of Spectrum Dermatology where she is able to use her skill and expertise in breast, body, and reconstructive procedures to help patients achieve beautiful and natural-looking results. Dr. Geoghegan is also voted Best Of The Valley for “Best Female Board Certified Plastic Surgeon” in 2019 by Arizona Foothills Magazine.
Dr. Jacobs is a board-certified dermatologist, providing care for patients in the Phoenix area for over 10 years. She treats a variety of dermatologic conditions, and is skilled in general medical and surgical dermatology.
Dr. Brooke Grant Jeffy is a board certified dermatologist, practicing in the Phoenix area since 2012. Dr. Jeffy is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Layton completed medical school at Stanford University School of Medicine where she engaged in clinical research at the Stanford Cancer Center related to melanoma skin cancer. Dr. Layton completed her Dermatology Residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA.
Dr. William McLeish hails from Chicago and joined Spectrum Dermatology after establishing a revered practice for 30+ years. His background includes work with the Mayo Clinic for over 20 years, where he served both the departments of Ophthalmology and Plastic Surgery. Dr. McLeish also served as the head of Scottsdale Healthcare during his illustrious career and has trained over 100 residents and fellows.
Dr. Muakkassa investigated treatments for skin diseases including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, cutaneous lymphoma, and prurigo nodularis. He then solidified his passion for research and epidemiology by returning to Baltimore, to complete a Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. O’Neill is dual board-certified by both the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology. He has completed extensive formal training in the histologic interpretation of skin biopsies, and works on-site at Spectrum Dermatology. This allows for accurate and timely clinicopathologic correlation and turnaround time for Spectrum’s patients.
Dr. Jennifer Peterson spent two years practicing medicine in her Las Vegas hometown before joining the Spectrum Dermatology team. She is skilled in both general medical and cosmetic dermatology and excels in treating a wide range of dermatological conditions.
Dr. Michael Probstfeld is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and an American College of Surgeons Fellow. Formerly the governor of the Arizona chapter of the American College of Surgeons and former Chief of Staff at the Tucson Medical Center (2012 – 2014), Dr. Probstfeld has an illustrious, impressive background in providing the best in surgical care to his patients.
Dr. Carlos A. Ricotti M.D. is board certified both in dermatology and dermatopathology by the American Boards of Dermatology and Pathology. Dr. Ricotti specializes in rashes, acne, psoriasis, infections of skin, skin cancer, melanoma, eczema, atopic dermatitis, hair disorders, nail disorders, and other areas of skin disease.
Randi Rubenzik, MD, is a board certified dermatologist who brings more than 12 years of expertise to Spectrum Dermatology. She sees patients with a variety of medical problems ranging from pediatric to adult dermatology. Dr. Rubenzik is recognized by Phoenix Magazine as a Top Doc in 2017.
Dr. Ross Stutman is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He specializes in cosmetic, oculoplastic (reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the eyes), and general reconstructive plastic surgery.
Dr. Thosani completed her internship at New York University’s Downtown Hospital in Manhattan. She then completed three years of residency and served as a Chief Resident in Dermatology at Stony Brook University Hospital and spent a significant amount of time at the Veterans Affairs hospital and at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Skin Cancer Center. Dr. Thosani is recognized by Phoenix Magazine as a Top Doc in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Dr. Wald is a board-certified dermatologist, Mohs micrographic surgeon, and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Wald’s residency training included a focus on skin cancer detection and treatment, as well as laser therapies, and performed over 1,700 surgeries and reconstructions.
Dr. Rajan Bhatt is double board certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. With his extensive training, Dr. Bhatt is committed to providing the highest quality of care to his patients, utilizing the most recent medical and surgical advances in a warm and compassionate environment.
Laura Allen is a board certified adult nurse practitioner and has been practicing medical and cosmetic dermatology in the Phoenix Valley since 2006. Laura is well versed in performing full body skin exams for the prevention and detection of skin cancer in adolescents, adults, and seniors.
Holly Nichols is a board certified nurse practitioner who has worked in dermatology for over 10 years. Prior to settling in Arizona, Holly specialized in patients with acne, rashes and warts and sees many patients for skin cancer screenings.
Maggie is a board certified Physician Assistant, PA-C who has been practicing general and cosmetic dermatology in the East Valley since 2001. Maggie has 14 years of extensive clinical experience in general, ethnic, and surgical dermatology seeing a full spectrum of dermatologic conditions of the skin, hair and nails.
Katherine is a board certified nurse practitioner with a specialty in dermatology. With over 35 years in the medical field she brings the knowledge and experience to offer quality individualized care to each of her patients.
Darren West is a nationally board-certified physician assistant with over 18 years of experience in clinical dermatology. He brings extensive experience in adult dermatology, pediatric dermatology, and dermatologic surgery.
Priscila brings over 25 years of extensive training and expertise in the field of Aesthetic Modalities and Skin Care as the Licensed Nurse Injector at Spectrum Dermatology.
